Australian surfboard shapers

The world’s largest island continent boasts hundreds of local shapers, many of whom are leading innovators in surfboard design and construction.

Not to mention a plethora of talented glassers, sanders and surfboard artists working behind the scenes to create world-class boards. If you’re a travelling surfer, why not plan your route so you can visit all the surfboard factories? You could even pick up a souvenir from each one and turn your home into a surfboard museum that will make you more popular than a retro single fin (except with the people who have to actually live with you).

We have shapers listed in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia. But none yet for the Northern Territory or the Canberra region. If you know of anyone who should be listed, help us out by suggesting a shaper.
